It is well known that knowledge based businesses such as IT, Biotech, KPO and many of the emerging industry verticals require skilled professionals. The number of openings in the industry is on the rise with local demand as well as outsourcing generated demand for people being on the rise. On the other hand there are numerous graduates who pass out of colleges and vocational training programs every year. Many of them do not find suitable employment. While there is demand and supply available the woes of both employers and aspirants continues due to the mismatch in actual skills and required skills.
